SPECIAL PLEA FOR DONATIONS TO HELP REPLACE THE LEESBURG MASONNIC LODGE
As a result of the total destruction of the Leesburg Masonic Lodge by an arsonist, we are requesting that anyone who sees this website page consider making a donation in any amount to help rebuild the Leesburg Lodge. See below and "Important News page."
The Villages Masonic Lodge is a charitable non-profit Masonic Lodge (501(c)(10) who donates thousands of dollars each year to local charities and groups.
If you see a charity listed below that you wish to support with a donation, please click on the on-line store logo below to make a contribution. You can donate in multiplies of $5. We will add it to the monies donated by Villages Lodge members and the various fundraisers we have during the year to benefit the Charities. Special Charities in support of childhood literacy:
(1) As part of our annual "Adopt-a-School" charitable program, we are initiating a "BIKES FOR BOOKS" program in 2 local elementary schools (Villages Elementary at Lady Lake and Wildwood Elementary). We are providing 1 boys and 1 girls bike (plus helmet) for grades K through 5 to incentivize boys and girls in primary grades to read. For each book read, the students will receive an entry for an end of year drawing for the bikes. The more they read the better their chances of winning. If you wish to support this endeavor please indicate it on your donation or donate through our secure link below.
(2) Tutors or Kids is a community-based organization of volunteers who support the local educational process by responding to school requests for direct classroom tutoring. The Villages Masonic Lodge supports this program.
